Eh’ up! Welcome to a blog run by a Yorkshire lass from the countryside. My name is Maddie Sutcliffe and I am a recent mother who gave birth to my gorgeous baby girl Izzy about 3 months ago. As a journalist, I am a keen writer and so my husband suggested that I should continue my writing on maternity leave so that I didn’t “lose my writing skills” and so I am embarking on this blogging journey for anyone who wants to hear!

Why Me Magazine Blog?

As a Yorkshire lass, I thought that using the pronoun “me” at the start of my blog would be an appropriate representation of my personality and home. The magazine part is because as a journalist this is where I started out, doing little columns on a children’s magazine, I since worked my way up the journalistic food chain. I thought it would be nice to add where I came from into my blog, I want this blog to be a reflection of my past, present, and future.
